Terms of Service

1. What Milapulse is
Milapulse (milapulse.com, "the service") is an invite-only social platform for long-form writing, operated by Dalipeer Networks (DPN, "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are invite-only. Sign-in is provided through our identity service; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
- One person per account. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
3. Your content
- You own what you write. You retain all rights to content you publish on the service.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content, solely as necessary to operate and provide the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups, which expire on the normal backup cycle.
- You are responsible for your content. Only publish what you have the right to publish.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights (including intellectual-property rights) of others;
- harass, threaten, or incite violence against any person or group;
- distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited advertising;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or the infrastructure it runs on;
- scrape or bulk-collect content or personal data of other users without their consent;
- disrupt or place unreasonable load on the service.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these rules.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process and why. It forms part of these terms.
6. Availability and changes to the service
The service is provided free of charge and on an "as available" basis. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your content.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (3, 8, 9, 10) do survive.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content published by users is theirs, not ours, and we do not endorse it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will announce the update on the service before it takes effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
